Mission Teams 2019

 

 

Dominican Republic

August 3-10

 

Our Mission Team to the Dominican Republic will be Saturday to Saturday,  August 3-10. The team will be hosted by DR Missionaries, Rick and Carie Bernard and their staff at their missions compound in San Cristobal. The Bernards have been serving in the DR over 15 years, have a wonderful missions staff and offer comfortable accommodations. They oversee The Esther House (girl’s home), provide daily meals to 125 street children through their Bread of Life Feeding Program and do various outreaches into the surrounding community. All of these initiatives include invitations to faith and teachings about Jesus. They host a    number of teams each year.

 

This team will have the opportunity to visit and serve the girls at The Esther House and the children in the Bread of Life Feeding Program. There are crafts, activities, teachings that affirm the value of the children, demonstrate the love of Jesus and offer faith and guidance for life. God uses relational touches to lighten these little lives facing many hardships. The team will visit a very poor area to pray, give basic medical care and or other compassionate touches. There will be opportunities to attend and participate in churches.

COST:

The cost for this Mission Trip is $1500.  This includes airfare and the in-country   expenses of food, lodging, transportation, etc. (Please note that this amount may fluctuate a little due to the costs of flights from your location.) There is a $100 deposit that is to be submitted with the application. The cost of your flight will be due when booked. The remaining amount will be due by July 15. There is time to gather your resources.

Liberia

Cost: $2300

This team will serve in medical outreaches through our GCI churches and share in ministry services.              

​

**There is a way for anyone to serve on these teams regardless of skill level. Of course we welcome those trained medical professionals. We will provide more information as dates and details become available.

 

 Also note that the costs are all inclusive (airfare, lodging, meals etc.) and depend on airfare from your location. You must have a valid passport. Please notify our office if you are interested or desire more information.
