Pastor Sonte is a dedicated pastor, church planter, and evangelist who works with a small team to bring the message of Jesus to villages entrenched in witchcraft. One powerful example of his work is in a village of 300 people, where the local chief invited Pastor Sonte to preach after a prolonged drought. The chief challenged him, saying, "If your God brings rain, we will believe in Him." Pastor Sonte and his team prayed, and within two days, rain fell. As a result, the chief and 120 villagers gave their hearts to Jesus. The chief then donated land and materials for a church shelter. GCI, through VisionVestors, provided Bibles, which Pastor Sonte and his team distributed to the new believers. Pastor Sonte continues his evangelistic efforts, and GCI supports him with church construction and Bible distribution.We are excited to partner with Pastor Sonte in this wonderful compassionate work.
